O Canada

Is there anything, and I mean anything that brings this country together faster than a hockey team. Think about it, no matter what the politicans try to do, a hockey team can make us feel good about everything again in a few hours.

There is nothing more satisfying and spine tingling for a Canadian than to hear our best athletes singing the national anthem after yet another gold medal. It's even better when we beat the Russians on the scoreboard and physically with a team that all the experts said wasn't good enough. That underdog role is something that Canadians love and when it's accomplished makes it as sweet as a cold doctor pepper.

Thanks to our World Junior team for reminding us how great a country we are. How much we love the game of hockey and reminding the world that yes, we are still the best and one more thing thanks for bringing us all together to cheer you on once again.
